Title: Business Systems Analyst

Description:

• Ensure all business requirements are captured as user stories, and that technical/development resources understand the business needs to build accordingly, ensuring the final product meets specifications.
• Support the product owner(s) in defining the overall user experience, engaging technical teams, UI/UX design teams, and business groups to elicit, interpret, analyze, and validate requirements for new functionalities, and generate system requirements in user story format.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to create stories, decompose features, document, manage dependencies, and develop story templates for repeatable features.
• Assist the team in grooming stories for three sprints, support backlog health, and execute continuous requirements elicitation and grooming activities to ensure stories are 'ready'.
• Translate business requirements into technical/system requirements, documented as supporting artifacts within stories for development and delivery.
• Resolve requirement-related impediments affecting team progress.
• Facilitate pre-grooming and grooming sessions to ensure scope and successful completion criteria are understood.
• Assist Product Owner in prioritizing user stories.
• Maintain in-depth business and technical knowledge of supported applications, continually improving expertise.
• Participate actively in Progressive Elaboration sessions and other project planning meetings.
• Contribute to the Business Systems Analyst Community of Practice to maintain standards, best practices, and skills.
• Update stories and communicate changes to requirements and functionality across the team.
• Adhere to all standards, policies, governance practices, and administrative responsibilities.
• Support QA Test Engineers with test case creation, guidance, and clarification of requirements.
• Support the team throughout sprints to address questions and resolve requirement concerns.
