About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Procurement to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of all procurement and supply chain functions. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that the company has the right products, at the right time, and in the right quantities to meet consumer demand, all while optimizing costs. The VP of Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, with a strong focus on cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities for the VP of Procurement include overseeing a team dedicated to sourcing high-quality ingredients and materials, establishing strong relationships with suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives. The role also involves championing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the procurement team, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices related to sourcing, purchasing, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record in a CPG environment, particularly in the food or beverage industries. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to manage supplier relationships, and experience in implementing cost-saving initiatives are essential. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software is a plus, and the candidate should be willing to travel as needed.
