About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Research Compliance to lead the institution in upholding the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and ethics, particularly in the research domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and implementation of the research compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies. This role involves collaboration with research leadership, investigators, staff, and external partners to foster a culture of compliance and accountability while supporting innovation and scientific advancement. The Executive Director will also serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, guiding the institution through regulatory complexities with integrity and sound judgment.

Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with advanced degrees and professional certifications strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in research compliance, particularly within an academic medical center, hospital, or research-intensive healthcare organization, is required. The role demands deep knowledge of research regulations and practical application in clinical research settings, as well as a proven track record in developing and overseeing compliance programs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to integrity, accountability, and ethical research practices. Responsibilities also include program management, training, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure integrated compliance and safeguard the institution's reputation as a premier research entity.
