About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Operations, Customer Success, and Engineering Services, with a primary focus on ensuring the flawless and timely delivery of projects. This role is instrumental in building trust and driving the company's growth engine. The COO will work closely with the Founder & CEO and CFO to establish a robust operating model that supports the company's expansion and scalability. Key responsibilities include leading project delivery, managing a contractor and vendor ecosystem, and embedding AI and automation into workflows to enhance efficiency.
The ideal COO for the company will have a proven track record of scaling a SaaS or SaaS + hardware company and will possess a mechanical or electrical engineering background to credibly lead installation-heavy projects. Experience in commercial real estate across various sectors is essential. The role requires a leader with a growth mindset, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to accountability and talent leadership. The COO will be expected to align Operations, Customer Success, and Engineering Services into a cohesive system, with a clear emphasis on processes, handoffs, and KPIs. Success will be measured by the company's ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, reduce install cycle times, and achieve high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
