About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Business Development to spearhead the growth of fund administration and middle office services within the private equity, credit, hedge, and wealth platform sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business development efforts, including the development and execution of strategies to build and close a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, representing the organization at industry events, and maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and client needs to drive innovative solutions. The VP will also be expected to utilize CRM tools for lead management, track progress, and provide detailed sales activity reports, as well as contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 6 years in financial services, fintech, or fund administration, and a preference for those with 10 years in the private equity, credit, or hedge fund sectors. The role requires a proven ability to sell complex solutions, manage client relationships, and lead RFP/RFI processes. Strong proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The ideal candidate will have a high energy, strategic mindset, and the ability to interact with C-level executives, as well as a growing network of fund managers, sponsors, and industry influencers. The position also demands availability for travel of up to 30% of the time.
