The CFO will be responsible for moving the company to best practices in financial management, improving the monthly close process, and implementing rigorous cash flow forecasting. Additionally, the role involves integrating add-on acquisitions, leading M&A activities, and executing systems integrations. The CFO will also be a key advisor on business strategy, with a focus on acquisitions, integrations, and capital allocation.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have 7-10+ years' of finance leadership experience in a private equity-backed setting, with a preference for those with a background in business-to-government or government contracting. The role requires a strong accounting background, experience in M&A transactions, and a proven track record in building scalable finance functions. Deep expertise in FP&A, cash flow forecasting, and financial modeling is essential, as is experience in leading compliance, risk management, and board and lender reporting.
