Candidates for the Board of Directors should be experienced nonprofit leaders or successful entrepreneurs, with a preference for those who have a background in either fundraising or marketing communications. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, a personal capacity for a significant annual financial commitment, and a strong understanding of or connection to gifted education. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in their specialized area, be strategic thinkers with the ability to execute, and demonstrate a deep commitment to the values of the organization. Board members are expected to be actively engaged, attending regular meetings, and participating in the school's events and initiatives.
