This includes advancing and communicating an IT strategic plan that aligns with business and operational objectives, ensuring robust technology support for strategic initiatives, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative IT team. The CDIO will also be tasked with developing a comprehensive roadmap that leverages analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and value in the healthcare sector.
The ideal CDIO for the company will be an emotionally intelligent and visible leader, experienced in team-building, and capable of building consensus across a complex health system. They must have a proven track record of successfully leading and advancing technology within a large, complex health system and be adept at fostering collaboration.
