About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, People to lead its dynamic People Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and evolving the company culture, aligning people strategy with business objectives, and overseeing all aspects of people operations, including recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, organizational design, performance, learning and development, and employee engagement. This role requires a strategic leader who can champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and belonging, and who is capable of excelling within a rapidly-evolving, entrepreneurial organization. The VP, People will also be a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, providing guidance on complex people matters and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Applicants must have 8-10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing people professionals and aligning people strategies with business goals. Expertise in organizational design, leadership development, employee relations, and change management is essential, as is strong business acumen and experience in managing people team budgets. The role demands exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, a team-first attitude, and a Bachelor's degree. HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging HR technology and analytics to drive decision-making and efficiency, and will be adept at anticipating people issues and implementing pragmatic solutions. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to economically scale the organization, build a trusted, data-driven people function, enhance leadership bench strength, and maintain a workplace where the People Team is a strategic partner.
