Pennoni Associates is currently seeking an Associate Traffic Engineer to work in either our Tampa or Clearwater, FL office with experience consistent, but not limited to:Assisting with complex traffic engineering tasks with other staff on highway and bridge projects.Leading and developing traffic studies and highway occupancy permits.Signing and Pavement Marking designAssisting with development of Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control PlansAssisting with development of Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Impact Studies (TIS)ADA Design and Curb Ramp Design FDOT Access Management, TSM&O and Complete Streets InitiativesAssisting with the development of project Cost Estimates and Specifications.Providing technical guidance and mentorship to technical staff (e.g., CADD).Experience with traffic-related software packages (Synchro, HCM, VISSIM, SIDRA)Experience with FDOT and similar public sector clients (Counties, Cities, Townships)Developing client relationships with Public and Private Clients.
