Overview

OKX is undertaking a significant global team buildout. We are looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our Digital Trust & Controls Assurance team. This role is a subject matter expert in cybersecurity governance, focusing on deep assessments of the company's cyber defense strategy and governance framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for auditing the company’s enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, policies, and standards against crypto threats.
  • Leverage deep expertise in cybersecurity governance to lead strategic audits of the security program and contribute to audits across other Digital Trust domains.
  • Contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan by identifying emerging cybersecurity risks and scoping potential audit projects.
  • Collaborate with security, technology, and business stakeholders to communicate audit findings, provide value-add recommendations, and monitor remediation plans.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the evolving crypto threat landscape and global regulatory requirements to keep audit approaches current and effective.

What We Look For In You

Hands-on, strategic auditor with recognized subject matter expertise in Cybersecurity Governance. Experience assessing security programs in complex, high-technology environments—ideally within crypto or FinTech. Able to contribute across a range of digital trust domains from technical operations to AI risk.

  • Crypto & Blockchain Acumen: Prior experience with a crypto exchange or crypto product is highly preferred. Foundational understanding of blockchain technology, distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
  • Cybersecurity Governance (SME): Deep expertise in auditing an enterprise-wide information security program, including strategy, policies, standards, and resilience against crypto-specific threats.
  • Critical Thinking for Complex Environments: Ability to analyze novel technical and control environments in crypto, identify root causes, and propose context-specific solutions.
  • Broad Expertise Across Digital Trust Domains: Experience auditing controls in areas such as cybersecurity operations, data security & privacy, IT general controls (ITGCs), AI governance & risk, and data analysis & SQL (data analytics with SQL within 90 days required).

The salary range for this position is $143,000 - $257,000. The salary offered depends on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
