The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online HESI tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students’ learning—all from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for HESI subjects to individual students.
- Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you’re available.
- Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
- Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
- Leverage tools to generate lessons and support engagement during sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in HESI and ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.
Compensation and Schedule
- Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student.
- Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions and invoices.
- Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
- Remote tutoring with no commute required.
