Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Check the compactor/ trash.
Ensure to check all products that customers return. Conducts bin audits Re-packs Handles put-aways Investigates inventory issues and recommends solutions Pick backorders for special items/special customers Check/report quality issues
Check returns from the day before.
Check all products that vendors return. Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damages. All good products must be cleaned before restock. Team members return items back to inventory. Return P.O's for credit and complete the proper paperwork. Ensure the dump list is accurate, list items that cannot be sold. Communicate with the Sanitation Department to ensure product waste doesn't get mixed up with the wholesale products.
Operate a forklift and/or a pallet jack when required. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED degree. 3+ years of warehouse experience. Produce experience a plus. Able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; able to work with little direct supervision. Ability to operate powered pallet jacks, hi-lo, reach trucks, hand pumping jacks, forklift, box cutter and RF Scanner. Ability to work on your feet for most of the day, repetitive bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. and moving 100 lbs. Able to work in cold warehouse environment (36°F - 38°F). Spanish language skills a plus.
