Hyve Solutions is seeking software engineer to tackle server platforms at scale. Develop Linux-based scripts and test code. Create automated installation/provisioning of Linux software images on servers, including storage systems. Develop manufacturing tests, exercising processors, memory, disk subsystems and network interfaces. Automation of all tasks related to our manufacturing environment. Development of scripts to parse test output for analysis of test data and test thoroughness. Benchmark different server designs. Responsibilities: 5 years of software development experience on a UNIX-like system such as *BSD, Solaris, or Linux. Proficiency in at least one of: Java, Python, Perl, or C/C++ In-depth knowledge of computer science topics, including but not limited to: data structures and algorithms computer architecture & operating systems Strong problem-solving ability and object-oriented design skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment BS or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline Qualifications : Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration Experience with setup and maintenance of a PXE environment Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible Experience building scalable web services Experience building highly available systems and operating 24x7 services Experience using issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, Redmine) Experience working with relational databases and working knowledge of SQL Experience with NoSQL database is a plus Exposure to and understanding of XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with source code control systems, especially Git Experience with continuous integration tools, particularly Jenkins or Hudson In-depth knowledge of x86-based hardware platforms & boot process Salary Range: $70,500.00 - $127,500.00 Closing Date: 8/2/2025 @ HYVE Solutions , we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
