: Controls Technician

Compensation:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience)

The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial control systems at the production facility. This role supports plant operations by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automation equipment and PLC-based systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems and automation equipment. Diagnose and repair control circuits, sensors, HMIs, VFDs, and other electronic/electrical components. Program and modify PLC logic (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) for system optimization. Interpret and work from electrical/control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure reliable system performance. Support project implementation and commissioning of new control equipment. Adhere to company and OSHA safety standards and procedures Requirements

Strong working knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, and electronic/electrical components. Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms. Ability to read and interpret electrical/control schematics and technical documentation. Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
