Summary:

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order entry, tracking, fulfillment coordination, exception resolution, and data accuracy. This role ensures seamless execution of customer orders, supports carrier and shipper alignment, and collaborates cross-functionally with transportation, warehouse, and customer teams to ensure timely and complete order fulfillment.

Responsibilities: Manage the entire order lifecycle from entry through delivery, ensuring timely processing, fulfillment, and documentation. Coordinate with shippers and internal teams to validate product availability and delivery timelines. Accurately enter and update order information into order management system. Oversee inbound and direct shipments, coordinate carrier pickups, and monitor in-transit loads. Track orders and resolve issues related to fulfillment, returns, and exceptions (e.g., mis-ships, damages). Utilize transportation and order management systems (e.g., ETM, TMS) to manage and monitor order status. Communicate proactively with internal teams and external shippers/customers to provide updates and resolve inquiries. Support return merchandise authorization (RMA) and recycled order process. Maintain documentation and reporting for order and shipment accuracy. Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline order and shipping workflows.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in order management, logistics coordination, or transportation operations. Proficiency in order management and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment. Familiarity with transportation documentation, returns processing, and shipment reconciliation.

Pay range: $45,000 to $50,000.
