We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our rapidly growing team!

Description

The System Administrator shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Position Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLI Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python Experience performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environment General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components Experience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solution Familiarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data Experience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environments Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures Experience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and Nagios Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Position Desired Skills

Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes Experience with distributed files systems such as Weka, CEPH, GPFS, and HDFS Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

Qualifications An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
