Our client is a tile showroom and looking to hire an associate that can join the team.
Duties of the Store room associate:
Receive, catalog, and organize product samples in the sample room, ensuring seamless accessibility. Maintain an accurate inventory system, tracking sample movement, availability, and distribution. Proactively monitor sample stock levels, request replenishments as needed, and optimize storage for efficiency. Maintain detailed records of all sample activity, including tracking systems and databases. Generate reports on sample utilization, inventory levels, and any discrepancies to support showroom operations. Keep the sample room clean, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and team members. Regularly update displays and sample presentation areas to showcase products effectively. Team Collaboration Work closely with showroom staff and internal teams to uphold brand standards and exceed client expectations. Assist with additional showroom and sales-related tasks as needed to enhance the client's experience. Qualifications of the Store Room Associate:
High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in inventory management, logistics, or a related field are a plus. Experience in sample coordination, inventory management, or a similar role within a showroom, design, manufacturing, or product-related environment. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and managing inventory. Proficiency in inventory management systems or software for cataloging and tracking samples. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with basic safety procedures and regulations for handling different types of samples. Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and special events as needed. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. for sample movement and showroom maintenance.
