GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor of Information Technology Services, the Director of Enterprise Application Systems is responsible for the strategic leadership, implementation, and management of the college's enterprise application systems, ensuring they align with institutional goals and support operational efficiency. This role oversees the development, integration, maintenance, and security of critical applications, including the Student Information System (SIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Learning Management System (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Microsoft Active Directory services and other administrative systems. The Director collaborates with academic and administrative stakeholders to optimize technology solutions that enhance student success and institutional effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage all aspects of Active Directory, both on premise and Azure Entra ID for faculty/staff/students

2. Manage all aspects of the university's Microsoft tenet including email, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Teams, group policy etc.

3. Manage all licenses for all tenants (m365, zoom, TDX, Adobe, Linked In, etc.) granting/removing as needed along with monitoring of numbers needed

4. Primary security officer monitoring windows defender and other security reports and responding to reported issues including any needed mitigations

5. Maintain azure active directory including setup of Single Sign On (SSO) for applications

6. Develop, troubleshoot, adjust, and modify integrations with applications such as Banner, Rave, Pathify, TDX, Azure, etc. using Powershell and SQL

7. Supervise the Helpdesk Manager and LMS/TDX Administrator

8. Manage Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Project tasks using the Team Dynamics platform;

9. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience

10. Serves as the primary liaison between third-party vendors, state and local regulatory and contract offices, institution staff, and counterparts at other institutions relative to enterprise system

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree in related field such as computer science, computer engineering, etc. or equivalent experience . 2 years related experience and/or training. Experience in programming/script development using Powershell (preferred) or other relevant language.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field such as computer science, computer engineering, etc.and 1+ years supervisory experience preferred.
