H2O Innovation provides public works management services and operations assistance for water and wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations and businesses across North America. We are looking for a Water Repair Laborer to join our team in Gautier, Mississippi. The candidate will assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of water distribution and wastewater systems. This is a hands-on role involving physical labor in outdoor environments, including digging, pipe installation, and equipment handling.
The day-to-day
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines, mains, meters, and hydrants. Perform manual labor including digging trenches, backfilling, and site cleanup. Operate hand tools and small equipment (e.g., jackhammers, compactors, etc.) Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Assist in locating and marking underground utilities. Load and unload materials and tools. Support crew members and supervisors as needed. The skills we are looking for
High school diploma/GED. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with the public, team members, and supervisors. Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. The benefits
Overall remuneration includes:
Salary of $15.00-$17.00 per hour. Group insurance plan including dental, vision and telemedicine. 401k plan. 11 Statutory Holidays. Vacations and wellness days.
The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
