Job Summary:
The
Business Intelligence Analyst
is responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis-including requirements gathering, design, documentation, testing, and validation-to support the implementation of BI analytics solutions for regional or system partners. This role involves developing reporting and analytical capabilities while adhering to best practices in methodology, design, programming, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience with OLTP/OLAP/MPP databases, and the ability to design and develop complex reporting solutions using both normalized and denormalized data structures. Key Responsibilities:
nalysis & Reporting:
Gather and analyze business/functional requirements to formulate BI solutions. Design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards. Perform data mining using advanced SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Database & SQL Development:
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data. Work with OLTP, OLAP, and MPP database environments.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues. Recommend and implement efficient technical solutions that balance cost, time, and performance.
Documentation & Standards:
Ensure adherence to development, testing, and support standards. Maintain clear documentation of report specifications, logic, and processes.
Required Competencies:
Technical Skills:
dvanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, stored procedures, query optimization). Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.). Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL, star schema, dimensional modeling).
nalytical Abilities:
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. bility to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in BI, data analysis, or related roles. Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Work Environment
Hybrid/remote options may be available. Occasional off-hours support for deployments or critical issues.
