Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an accomplished

Luxury

General Manager

to lead the pre-opening and transformative renovation of an iconic luxury property in New York City.

This is a rare opportunity for a proven luxury leader to shape the re-emergence of a landmark hotel, blending operational excellence with world-class guest experiences. The ideal candidate will bring vision, discipline, and cultural fluency to restore the property to its place among the world’s great hotels.

What You’ll Do

Lead all aspects of

pre-opening and renovation , including budgets, timelines, OS&E/FF&E, and stakeholder alignment. Establish a

Forbes five-star service culture

with bespoke guest experiences that reflect the soul of New York City. Partner with sales, revenue, and marketing to drive

financial performance

(P&L, NOI, EBITDA). Recruit, inspire, and mentor a world-class team of hospitality professionals. Serve as the hotel’s

ambassador

to the community, tastemakers, and cultural leaders. What We’re Looking For

10+ years in

senior luxury hotel leadership , including GM experience in a flagship or tier-one urban property. Expertise in

pre-opening and/or major renovations . Mastery of

Forbes/LQA standards

and reputation for anticipatory, guest-centric service. Strong financial acumen with proven NOI and TRevPAR results. Deep knowledge of the New York City market, compliance, and labor environment. Charismatic leadership presence and ability to inspire teams and engage ownership. Compensation & Benefits
