1st Shift Shipping and Receiving
LOCATION:
Monroe, MI SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. COMPENSATION: Depends on Experience (Weekly Pay) POSITION OVERVIEW: Operate machinery, assemble products, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols, track material usage, and support lean manufacturing practices to meet production targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Handler
Operate machinery to produce components. Assemble products according to specifications. Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and report any hazards. Load and unload materials from production equipment. Track and document material usage. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Identify and report material shortages or issues. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices. Shipping and Receiving Duties
Receive and inspect incoming shipments. Verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists. Prepare and package outgoing shipments. Ensure accurate labeling and documentation. Maintain inventory records and update stock levels. Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups. Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
