6:00 AM - 4:00 PM , Monday-Friday (could turn into a 7am to 3pm)

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00/hour , Depending on Experience (DOE)

Job Type: Contract to Hire | Full-Time

About the Opportunity:

Opsource has partnered with a fast-growing, industry-leading manufacturer of weatherseal and specialty sealing products. We are seeking a

skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrician/Mechanic)

to support daily operations, equipment maintenance, and facility needs on

1st shift .

This role is ideal for a technician with a strong mix of

electrical and mechanical skills , who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and takes pride in minimizing downtime and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing and facility equipment Perform preventative maintenance and document work performed Fabricate and install equipment using standard mechanical and electrical tools Use measuring and diagnostic tools including multimeters, calipers, micrometers, vibration analyzers, and more Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documents Support facility maintenance including lighting, minor plumbing, ceiling tile replacement, and general building upkeep Communicate effectively with team leads and production staff to prioritize repairs Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and internal protocols Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized Open to learning new tools such as mills, grinders, lathes, and welders Ideal Candidate Will Have: High School Diploma or GED preferred Electrical or mechanical vocational training, trade school, or equivalent experience 5-6 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and equipment repair (preferred) Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and reporting tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Willingness to work independently and take initiative Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 45 lbs, and use hands/tools throughout the shift Ability to work in a moderately loud environment while wearing required PPE (eye, ear, hand, foot protection) EXCELLENT Benefits (Upon Full-Time Hire): Why Join Us?
