Rainmaker is pioneering a modern precipitation enhancement system to solve water scarcity and inclement weather problems. We develop and incorporate radar validation, weather-resistant UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable cloud seeds into an effective precipitation enhancement solution. We are seeking an Atmospheric Data Analyst to work with a team of scientists to analyze large atmospheric datasets. The role involves quality control, data wrangling, scientific analysis, and novel algorithmic development using the various datasets. This role also requires a strong understanding of meteorological principles, data science techniques, and data visualization approaches. The analyst will work closely with meteorologists, atmospheric scientists, and software developers to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data. Additionally, the analyst may be involved in scientific research projects and contribute to publications. What You'll Do Process and analyze data from field campaigns
Create climatology reports on field campaign data
Create clear data visualizations and presentations
Write detailed scientific reports
Collaborate within a team environment
Required Qualifications BSc degree (minimum) in one of the following: Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Geophysical Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related physical science
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience with atmospheric science-related open source libraries
Data analysis and visualization capabilities
Experience working with large datasets
Strong scientific writing skills for reporting
