We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CSA QA/QC Inspector to join our project team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all Civil, Structural, and Architectural envelope systems-including façade, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, and glazing-meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities:
Ensure all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works comply with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. Perform inspections and review testing of envelope systems, including façade, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, and external glazing. Monitor the execution of CSA works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and materials. Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements specific to envelope systems. Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues promptly. Review and verify all materials and workmanship associated with the envelope installation. Conduct regular site walks and quality audits to identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, inspection reports, and punch lists for all envelope activities. Participate in QA/QC meetings and interface with commissioning, construction, and safety teams as required. Support project handover by ensuring all envelope systems meet client and regulatory quality requirements. Ensure all works adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in parallel with quality expectations. Verify subcontractor qualifications, quality documentation, and adherence to project quality plans. Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. Skills Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in CSA assurance/inspection in industrial or mission-critical construction environments. In-depth knowledge of AISC, AWS D1.1, and applicable building codes. Familiarity with structural drawings, weld maps, and shop drawings. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred or equivalent inspection certifications. Proficiency with inspection documentation tools and software; experience with Procore or similar systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Education / Licenses / Certifications: Certified Welder Inspector (CWI) certification preferred Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
