CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description: This position supports the Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Team, (Code 315) is part of the Life Cycle Logistics & Readiness Division (Code 31) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), provides program level management and leadership for logistics, and acquisition support programs and initiatives. This includes the planning, development, production, procurement, and sustainment of logistic products for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment installed on Navy's ships and submarines and coordination of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) updates associated with life cycle sustainment planning and execution for shipboard HM&E system and equipment. Required Skills and/or Experience:

The experience shall include five (5) years in configuration management activities, specifically with Navy systems, including the use of Configuration Data Manager - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and MBPS's DECKPLATE. The individual must demonstrate proficiency in navigating and extracting configuration files and fields from these systems to support DMSMS configuration pulls, system health assessments, Bill of Material (BOM), and configuration audits. Degree Requirements:
