Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 9:00PM

Friday 8:00AM - 8:00PM

Saturday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

SUMMARY

Family Service League is seeking a

Full-Time

Supervisor for our Riverhead Mental Health Clinic. The Supervisor's job responsibilities include providing individual and group supervision to an interdisciplinary team, monitoring documentation, and providing direct service provision. The Supervisor will be knowledgeable about regulatory requirements, CCBHC Standards, and Evidence-Based Practices related to the program's populations. Additionally, the candidate is expected to lead the team by maintaining a solution-focused and system management approach when identifying issues that may impact program goals, both long and short term. The Supervisor will demonstrate an understanding of program outcomes, performance indicators, and program evaluation tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supervisor will provide clinical oversight and supervision through a trauma-informed lens and systems approach to clinic staff. This includes training, individual and group supervision, and performance appraisals. Maintain a personal caseload, including completion of necessary documentation in accordance with OMH/OASAS guidelines. Facilitate crisis intervention for at-risk clients, including risk assessment, safety planning, and referral and linkage to ongoing care The Supervisor will develop collaborative relationships with staff, volunteers, priority referral sources and satellite sites at all levels. Provide customer service approach to all client touchpoints with strong collaboration with integrated Care Team. Ensure staff compliance with related regulations and agency policies. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or related license required.

Three years' relevant experience required.

Knowledge of human services and previous experience working with at-risk and co-occurring populations required.

Previous Supervisory experience preferred.

Computer proficiency skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records, are required.

Ability to work both independently, as well as on a team, is required.

Strong judgement and problem-solving skills and understanding of boundaries are required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires sitting and standing for long periods of time.
