OVERVIEW

In this role you will play a critical role in scaling the impact of the Information Security, Risk, and Operations organization. You'll drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution-ensuring the team delivers on its mission to protect sensitive healthcare data and enable trust in digital health. By leveraging artificial intelligence and automation, you'll help modernize security operations and accelerate decision-making.

This is a high-visibility role that influences enterprise-wide priorities and helps shape the future of cybersecurity and operational excellence in healthcare technology.

Salary Range: $150-$200k

Responsibilities • Partner with the CISO to define and track strategic priorities, OKRs, and annual planning cycles. • Drive alignment across security, risk, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives. • Lead special projects and cross-functional programs that advance the maturity of the security organization. • Own the rhythm of the business: leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, board reporting, and executive communications. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress against strategic goals and demonstrate program performance. • Optimize internal processes using automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability. • Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to enhance threat detection, incident response, and risk analytics. • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to integrate AI into security workflows and decision-making. • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and their implications for cybersecurity and healthcare compliance. • Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CISO and leadership team. • Creation of reports and presentations to be presented to executive board. • Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and decision support for executive engagements and communications. • Facilitate leadership team effectiveness through agenda setting, follow-ups, and issue resolution. • Serve as a liaison between the security organization and key internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, IT, Product, Engineering, HR). • Support external engagements with regulators, auditors, and partners as needed. • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across internal and external communications.

Qualifications • 5+ years in "Chief of Staff", strategy, or program leadership roles supporting technology C-Suite executives. • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Track record of thoughtful and creative establishment of KPIs and ability to drive implementation. • Proficiency in presentation creation at an executive leadership level. • Proven ability to lead through influence and drive outcomes in complex environments.

Strongly Preferred • Experience in a healthcare technology company or other regulated industry. • Experience with AI/ML applications in cybersecurity or risk domains. • Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields. • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH) and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS). • Familiarity with enterprise security tools, GRC platforms, and AI-enhanced threat intelligence platforms. • MBA, MHA, or advanced degree in a relevant field.
