The Role
We are looking for a results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of multifamily construction projects—from pre-development planning to delivery. This role requires a strong operator who can enforce schedules, manage budgets, and drive accountability with general contractors and consultants. The Project Manager will serve as the owner’s representative, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects, including pre-development, bidding, construction, and closeout.
- Manage and evaluate general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Develop and enforce project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
- Lead project budgeting, cost tracking, and value engineering to control costs.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and ADA requirements.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure units are delivered move-in ready.
- Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, contractors, consultants, and local jurisdictions.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and document lessons learned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with multifamily residential projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend, etc.).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, quality control, and OSHA standards.
- PMP, CCM, or OSHA 30 certifications a plus.
