Job Summary

The Sr. Director, Talent, Performance and Career, is responsible for the design and implementation of HP's enterprise-wide talent and performance management approach and career development infrastructure and framework. The person in this role also provides exceptional thought leadership and expertise in the talent and performance space.

The role reports directly to the SVP, Talent & Learning, and partners closely with senior People Leaders, Center of Expertise (COE) partners, and colleagues across the Talent and Learning team.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of enterprise- wide talent and performance management and career development strategies. Communicate and advocate philosophy and approach to senior leadership, influencing the strategic direction the organization chooses to take. Develop and implement practices, tools, solutions, and frameworks that enable an integrated approach to talent, performance and career development. Explore and adopt cutting-edge AI-enabled technologies that help facilitate a more streamlined and effective approach to managing talent, performance and careers. Explore and use contemporary approaches to accelerate adoption of practices that create sustained behavioral and culture change, enabling HP to be a high-performing organization. Monitor effectiveness and seek out client and HR business partner feedback to continuously improve and advance practices. Manage projects of high complexity that promote the effectiveness of programs along with refining strategies. Contribute as a leader in the Talent & Learning and HR space, supporting the broader strategy of the People organization. Education & Experience

Recommended

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in training, talent selection & development, performance management, or a related field. Preferred Certifications

Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR) Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Talent Management Practitioner (CTMP) Knowledge & Skills

Leadership and Management : The ability to lead and manage direct and cross-functional teams effectively is crucial. This includes setting clear goals, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment. Strategic Thinking : The role requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement talent performance and career development strategies that align with organization and business goals. Communication Skills : Strong communication skills are essential for conveying ideas, providing feedback, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Analytical Skills : The ability to analyze data and metrics to assess talent performance and identify areas for improvement is vital. Change Management : The role often involves leading and managing change initiatives, so being adept at change management is important for ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes. The pay range for this role is

$183,650

to

$293,800

USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
