SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating the information from Security Management, Security Officers, Surveillance, other Casino Departments, Local Law Enforcement, and Emergency Medical Services throughout the property and including other off property operations operated by Four Winds Casino Resort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:
Maintains a log of all radio and telephone calls into and out of the Security Dispatch Center. Notifies the proper authority depending on the nature and issues of the various incoming and outgoing radio and telephone calls. Assigns Security Officers as needed to details and requests for personnel from other department s as well as responding outside agencies as needed. Receives all incoming calls from guests pertaining to Security matters, guest service issues pertaining to the Security Department and Gaming Commission concerning Security operations. Provides departmental information and conveys telephone messages accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains knowledge of all department Policies and Procedures, the Emergency Action Plan, Crisis Communication Plan, as well as standard operating procedures of Local Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services as applies to the Casino and its attendant properties. Notifies Shift Manager/ Assistant Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor of any pertinent conditions as needed and as directed. Promotes positive guest and employee relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service. Must be knowledgeable of the emergency power system, emergency radio system, and other assorted emergency equipment used by the Security and Facility Departments additionally must know how to respond to the notifications of each of these systems and know who and when to contact the correct responder to each. Promotes the following within the department and among all employees:
Creates an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests. Encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, Outlook or related software as well as TurboVUi Dispatch and Advantage monitor software packages. Strong communication and typing skills required. Ability to multi-task is critical as operations will include simultaneous use of surveillance, computer, radio, and emergency equipment in a responsible manner. Must be able to work alone with little or no direct supervisor and be able to delegate tasks to other Security Officers within the property. Must be able to keep personal and sensitive material or information confidential.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Some analytical ability is required in order to summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative problems. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations must be able to prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks and requests.
