The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery and receipt of products and materials for Feed & Biofuel operations in the USA and internationally. Manages the local logistics team, drives operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with company policies and standards. Utilizes SAP to maintain accurate transaction records, continuously improves workflow and inventory accuracy, and aligns local operations with global logistics expectations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop, lead, and execute logistics strategies at local and global levels. Manage, coach, and develop a lean logistics team capable of multitasking across all key functions. Support global logistics reviews and strategic improvement initiatives. Produce and present monthly departmental KPI reports. Oversee the receipt, storage, pulling, issuing, transporting, and shipping of purchased and manufactured products. Ensure all logistics transactions are accurately recorded in SAP and align with MRP system requirements. Manage inventory control systems to maintain accurate, real-time inventory records. Coordinate and execute monthly cycle counts to ensure full annual inventory accountability. Collaborate with the other ANDRITZ facilities to ensure inventory consistency across locations. Continuously monitor warehouse workloads (receiving, distribution, and shipping) and reassign team duties to optimize efficiency. Drive operational efficiency by aligning cross-functional efforts between Production, Planning, and Sales teams to ensure consistent and optimized material flow across the facility. Support plant-wide improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives. Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with shipping providers (land & ocean), including contingency planning for disruptions. Negotiate and manage service contracts (e.g., shuttle service, trucking, forklift maintenance). Resolve logistics-related customer complaints and ensure follow-up corrective actions. Maintain daily interaction with internal customers and departments to meet demanding delivery timelines. Help expedite urgent orders and coordinate emergency weekend/on-call logistics as required. Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. Act as a key SAP user to support accurate storage, movement, and distribution of materials. Manage and resolve vendor-related receipt discrepancies and transactional issues When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education. Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics or business coordination. Experience managing a logistics or warehouse team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning systems (SAP preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization. Proven ability to implement process improvements and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Strong decision-making skills and ability to resolve operational issues independently. Other Valued Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Preferred):

Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience in the Feed & Biofuel industry. International logistics and vendor management experience.
