JOB LOCATION

This position requires living in the Pacific Time Zone, with travel to Lanai, Hawaii, 3-4 times per year.

COMPENSATION

$27.64 - $46.88 / hour, Non-Exempt, with a discretionary bonus of up to 10%.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sensei Ag is hiring an IT Support Technician, who will play a critical role in maintaining IT operations across the company, focusing on our farm in Lanai, Hawaii, serving as a remote helpdesk technician. This position can be based in Hawaii or within the Pacific Time Zone, with quarterly visits (1 week, every quarter) to Lanai, Hawaii. The role involves managing day-to-day IT support tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining site-specific hardware and network systems, and ensuring a high-quality experience Minimum e for all end users.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Quarterly travel to the Lanai facility to provide hands-on support, perform system maintenance, and ensure the reliability of all IT infrastructure onsite. Act as the primary IT contact for the Lanai facility-building strong relationships with local staff, proactively identifying technology needs, and resolving issues efficiently. Manage and monitor support tickets through the company's ticketing system, meeting response and resolution SLAs. Maintain and troubleshoot site-specific infrastructure, including networking equipment, servers, printers, and AV systems. Assist in deploying IT policies, security practices, and user education initiatives across locations. Support broader IT projects and initiatives in collaboration with the IT team, contributing insights from on-the-ground operations. SKILLS and EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in a remote capacity. Proficiency in managing IT support tickets, including tracking, resolving, and escalating user issues. Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls). Administer and support identity and access management using Okta, including SSO integrations, MFA policies, and user lifecycle workflows. Manage cross-platform devices with Intune and Kandji, implementing MDM policies, compliance standards, and automated provisioning. Assist with configuration of Jira Service Management, handling request workflows, SLA monitoring, and support automation. Controlled-environment agriculture environment. Growing systems like Priva. Solar Infrastructure like Tesla Basic understanding of cloud services (Oracle Cloud) and their role in user support. EDUCATIONAL / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

A High School diploma or equivalent, required. A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

Up to 15% of the time to Lanai, Hawaii. WORK HOURS

10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Pacific Time, including being on-call between 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Pacific Time, as needed (1-2 times per year).
