Chantilly, VA Overview

The UI/UX design lead is a key member of a web design team responsible for leading the design of user interfaces and experiences Collaborates closely with stakeholders, conducts user research, and manages a team of designers Aims to create designs that are user-friendly, intuitive, and engaging Gathers and evaluates user requirements by working with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and objectives Illustrates design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to visualize concepts Designs graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, widgets, and other UI components Builds navigation components such as page navigation buttons and search fields Creates UI mockups and prototypes to demonstrate how sites function and look Troubleshoots UX problems, particularly those related to responsiveness Adheres to style standards to ensure consistency in fonts, colors, and images Conducts testing and analysis, including vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis, reverse engineering, and development of computer network operations tools Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Strategist or Architect for Digital Products Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters across all projects Experience coordinating design standards across development partner teams Experience standardizing processes and participating in leadership meetings Proficiency in digital design tools, including Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, or Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of designing UI elements for transformation products Ability to become a subject matter expert and key point of contact across the organization Benefits
