Order Entry Worker needed to work in Shipping/Receiving for a top manufacturing company in Monroe, CT. Pay rate is $17-$20 Hr. Mon-Fri from 7 am - 11 am.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter incoming purchase orders in Visual Shop to produce a work order.
• Contact customers to obtain information that is missing on their purchase orders. Explain the what's and whys of information needed on purchase orders
• File all purchase orders in work in process files in Quality Control.
• Assist/back up the Shipping Receiving Clerk when needed with the pickup schedule.
• Answer Teams phone calls in Shipping and Receiving; text internally on Teams to forward messages received
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Typing skills for data entry and able to use standard office equipment.
• Microsoft Outlook Email and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of CSI/Visual Shop.
• Need Attention to Detail, organization skills and be able to solve problems.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience as a Shipper/Receiver
$17-$20 HR
