Work Experience: Intermediate (Developing Skills)
Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.
Job Summary
Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports
Primary Responsibilities Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Operate a 15 passenger van and deliver packages across campus. (Requires US drivers license) Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using the computer. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.
