New Tech Global is seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic for a client located in Rumford, RI. This is a contract opportunity expected to last through December.
Pay: Depending on experience.
Responsibilities: - Support all manufacturing lines using mechanical skills to adjust, repair, replace and perform scheduled preventative maintenance for all equipment for optimum operating conditions.
- Use mechanical skills when making observations in a given situation, followed by a systematic step-by-step method to minimize machine downtime.
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to boilers, scrubbers, chillers, mechanical maintenance, plumbing & troubleshooting.
- Facility and building maintenance not limited to waste treatment and production equipment.
- Responsible for light electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to include motors, solenoids, fuses, lamps, sensors, and light machine wiring.
- Perform plumbing repairs using glued PVC, CPVC, welded polypro, steel plumbing, and flexible tubing and hose as required.
- Work with valves, pumps, clutches, belts, and motor troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement.
- Organize and maintain spare parts inventory & tools used within the facility.
- Required to help maintain all pumps, mixers, and all process equipment in waste treatment.
Requirements: - Min High School Diploma. - 10 plus years of experience - Experience with Microsoft Word. - Basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience
