Talascend is currently seeking a Software Verification Engineer for an opportunity in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Overview
The software verification engineer acts as the main technical reference for the software verification of the propulsion nodes, ensuring that all requirements are properly implemented by testing the Simulink model using advanced virtual facilities.
Responsibilities Requirements analysis vs software documentation Design the tests to be performed on software features Execute the designed test using the advanced virtual facilities Interact with the calibration team to pre-calibrate the new software algorithm Support lesson learned for the escaped issues and reinforce the process to improve the quality of testing Troubleshooting issues to facilitate root cause analysis and issue closure Qualifications
Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience 2 years in automotive Requirements
Ability to work in an Agile environment Excellent knowledge of Simulink models Have a valid driver's license Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable Previous engineering experience in controls/software development, testing or calibration will be considered a plus
