Job Duties

This position is open to current DMV employees only!

The Program Support Technician supports the Online Dealer Work Center by processing vehicle records, ensuring NMVTIS compliance, and providing key customer support. This role involves detailed research, documentation management, and collaboration with external agencies to maintain accurate and compliant vehicle records. Key Responsibilities: Process Helds, Suspense reports, and duplicate title updates; research and resolve vehicle record discrepancies. Verify documents using OnBase and external systems to ensure NMVTIS compliance. Respond to dealer and agency inquiries via phone and email; draft correspondence regarding resolutions. Maintain detailed logs and documentation to support audits and fraud prevention. Cross-train on related program workflows and assist with operational coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of DMV policies related to NMVTIS and title processing. • Strong research and organizational skills to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. • Proficiency in data entry, recordkeeping, and DMV systems. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to identify and prevent title fraud through thorough analysis.

Additional Considerations

• Experience with NMVTIS operations or vehicle title processing. • Familiarity with document imaging and retention systems. • Strong problem-solving skills for addressing operational inefficiencies. • Experience with DMV operations or similar regulatory environments.

Job-Specific Requirements: • Must pass a fingerprint-based background check. • License: Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than 6 demerit points and no major convictions.
