Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations for U.S.-based transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with U.S. accounting standards
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification (preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S.-based accounting, ideally in distribution or retail
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of U.S. tax regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
- Salary Range: $30 to $35/ hour
