Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Laborers to join our team on a Dam Rehabilitation project with a primary focus on
concrete demolition . This role involves hands-on work in the cutting, breaking, removing, and cleanup of existing concrete structures to prepare for reconstruction. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-the-water, outdoor environment.
Essential Functions
Perform demolition of concrete structures Operate hand tools (sledgehammers, air hammers, cut-off saws, grinders, etc.) Load, carry, and dispose of debris safely and efficiently Assist equipment operators and other crew members as needed Always maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company and project safety procedures and guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned to support project completion Perform work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.) Adhere to all safety guidelines outlined in the company's safety program Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling items up to 50 pounds Able to work at elevated heights on equipment or platforms This job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position. Required Skills & Experience
At least 1 year of heavy highway, road, concrete, form setting, or bridge construction laborer experience Prior experience in
concrete demolition
or heavy highway construction preferred Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (lifting to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, standing, etc.) General labor skills Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of all types Knowledge of operating a variety of other equipment and instruments is a plus Familiarity with demolition tools and safety protocols Reliable transportation to and from the job site Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety Must be able to work overtime, nights, or weekends as required by project schedules Benefits and EOE
