Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
The Sanitation Technician performs repetitive work, operations in the Sanitation Department. This position is responsible for all activities in and around the building requiring cleaning and sanitizing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) with regards to sanitation Adheres to all company and regulatory product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee, and environmental standards. Adheres to company Lock Out Tag Out, and HACCP procedures. Perform of cleaning production lines, mixers, totes drums and food processing rooms per SOP requirements. Routine Sanitation work include cleaning cafeteria, employee, front and west side office restrooms. Pick up garbage, cardboard boxes, plastic waste, and disposal into compactor. Cleaning warehouse, receiving, shipping areas, and production lines hallways. Safely apply industrial foam cleaners and sanitizers to production lines, mixers, production equipment, production rooms and drains. Report any problems or discrepancies immediately to sanitation lead, or sanitation supervisor. Report to sanitation lead or supervisor if any equipment is damaged. Completed necessary sanitation forms accurate such as pre-operational inspection checklist after washing productions lines, mixers, and Kason. Maintain accurate daily drains sanitizing/cleaning sheet record. Physical Demands:
Stand: Constantly (67-100%) Push/Pull - Frequency (daily basis): Very Frequent (50% +) Lift/Carry - Frequency (daily basis): Frequent (25-50% of work day) Walk: Constantly (67-100%) Climb: Frequently (34-66%)
