Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage and optimize the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain.
You will work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and logistics activities Monitor and manage supply chain operations to meet production and customer demands Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and purchase orders Assist in developing supply chain strategies and implementing best practices Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to align supply chain efforts with business goals Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications : Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar Experience with international shipping and customs documentation Japanese language skills or understanding Japanese business culture
