$2986 Position Summary: VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. Key Responsibilities: Perform echocardiographic examinations on infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients Complete 10 echo scans and reports per 10 hour shift Perform 3-D Echo, M-Mode, and PACS procedures Conduct bubble studies and stress echo examinations (both pharmacologic and treadmill) Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Complete portable echo studies and emergency department cases Scan complex cardiac anomalies and evaluate right ventricular inflow/outflow tracts Provide imaging with contrast agents as needed Work with pediatric acute care patients and NICU populations Maintain current BLS certification and required professional credentials Complete 30 hours of facility orientation Work 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (0700 or 0900) Work up to 6 weekend days per 6-week schedule Take on-call shifts 0-2 times per week (1730-0700) Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Utilize Epic charting system for documentation Float between facilities within the state as required Complete required training modules pre-start and annually Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty Maintain valid state licensure and professional certifications Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules Job Requirements: Active, unencumbered license in CA Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation: Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format) Two current clinical references State-required professional license Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months) TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months) Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted) Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations Must pass background check and drug screening
