Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced Member Service Representative with a background in credit union or banking operations. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-driven, and self-sufficient, with the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team environment. This role requires strict adherence to privacy standards and financial regulations, as well as exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Job Description

Greet and welcome members and visitors professionally; provide prompt, accurate, and efficient service. Respond to member inquiries via email, phone, walk-ins, call center tickets, and member relationship software in a timely and professional manner. Open new member accounts and service existing accounts; maintain accurate and complete member information. Assist members with plastic card issues, including mailing cards as needed. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services based on members' needs. Perform account maintenance and ensure appropriate documentation and member authorization. Serve as backup teller: process deposits, loan payments, and credit card payments; cash checks, verify signatures and balances, and place holds as necessary. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and federal regulations (e.g., BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC). Answer phones and assist members with accurate and clear information. Support other team members and departments as needed. Other duties as assigned. S

Must have recent experience (minimum 2 years) as a Teller or Member Service Representative in a credit union or banking environment. Previous cash handling experience required Ability to perform responsibilities independently and effectively manage time and tasks. Strong communication skills - both oral and written. Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse membership and staff. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information. Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding member service. Education

Highschool diploma or GED Pay Rate

$21 per hour Additional Details
