🎹 Position Summary: We’re looking for a dedicated Piano Instructor to join our team. This is a part-time, in-person position for private lessons. You’ll teach students ranging from young beginners to advanced teens and adult hobbyists.

📝 Job Summary

The Piano Instructor will provide engaging, individualized piano instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels. Candidates should be confident working with both children and adults in a fun, structured, and musically enriching environment.

🔑 General Accountabilities

Teach private piano lessons in-studio

Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s goals and progress

Maintain a positive, motivating learning environment

Prepare students for recitals and other performance opportunities

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress

Arrive on time and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor

✅ Job Qualifications

Proficient in piano performance and pedagogy (degree in music is a plus)

Prior teaching experience with children and/or teens preferred

Ability to teach various styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.) a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Reliable transportation and availability on weekday afternoons and/or Saturdays

Enthusiastic, warm, and student-focused teaching style
