The Loss Draft Check Specialist I is responsible for securing all incoming loss draft checks and handling them as instructed by the loss draft team. This position will also handle a variety of deposits and ACH payments.
Essential Duties and Functions:

Print Deposit and Stamp and Go/Special Instruction Reports Pulls checks based on Deposit Complete the deposit process to hand off to Treasury Pull Stamp and Go/Special Instruction Checks Complete S&G/SI process for hand off to Mail Team. Perform other clerical duties when supervisor requests Competencies:
Check Mailing Process Incoming Check Duties performed by Check Mailing Associate. Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. Interpersonal skills-the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things. Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills. Written communication-the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information. Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality. Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Safety and security-the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize workflow and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Windows based environment - specifically Word, Excel, and Access Works well in a team environment Attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Perform various data entry functions as needed. Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors. Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PFI standards. Minimum education required. Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Preferred
High School Diploma Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for processing outbound mail. Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day. Sedentary position Repetitive motion Ability to bend/ lift/transport/retrieve items between areas in the building weighing up to approximately 10-15 pounds independently. Ability to stand, bend, and reach for limited periods of time for filing, retrieving, and organizing office area. Worker not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Pay Range 16.00 - 16.75 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
