Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Texas
Job Summary: The Account Manager plays a crucial part in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include understanding assigned customers' unique purchasing needs, managing day-to-day requests, and driving used serviceable material (USM) sales to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Success in this role requires a combination of business acumen, relationship management expertise, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the aviation industry.
This position reports to the Senior Strategic Account Manager and works closely with Business Development and Sales Support teams to ensure that all materials sales transactions are carried out smoothly and efficiently, for a flawless customer experience.
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned strategic accounts. Field incoming requests for quotations and build strong, trust-based relationships with customers. Develop a deep understanding of customer's business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Partner with Business Development to identify proactive opportunities to add value for key customers. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Business Development, Sales Support, Product Line, Repairs, and Warehouse to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines balancing customer needs with internal capabilities and margin objectives. Monitor order fulfillment and coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction and trust. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Assist Sales Support with functions as needed to help achieve departmental goals. Attend industry conferences and networking events as a company representative. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management. Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, aviation, or related field. Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing role. Previous experience in the aviation industry is a plus. Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate). Knowledge, Behavior, and Abilities:
Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills. Detail orientation with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
