Job Description: Microsoft SharePoint & Power Platform Specialist

Overview

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Microsoft SharePoint Online environment within the Microsoft 365 GCC High cloud. This involves creating sites, managing user permissions, and handling libraries and lists. You will also develop and support the Power Platform suite, including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, and Dynamics in addition to SharePoint and Project sites.

Your role also includes supporting and maintaining SharePoint sites and Microsoft 365 technologies used by the organization, such as Teams, OneDrive, and Office 365 apps. You will work with the team to suggest, develop, and implement new processes and procedural improvements, effectively communicate with end users, and collaborate in a team environment to resolve issues.

You will serve as a subject matter expert on SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams, and Power Automate. On a daily and monthly basis, you will manage, secure, and optimize our SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments to facilitate collaboration and efficient business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage SharePoint Online sites, user permissions, libraries, and lists. Develop and support Power Platform applications (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Dynamics). Support and maintain Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Office 365 apps. Suggest, develop, and implement new processes and procedural improvements. Collaborate with team members and end users to resolve issues. Serve as subject matter expert for SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams, and Power Automate. Manage, secure, and optimize SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments. Ensure compliance standards are met and stay current with best practices. Recommend process improvements, and develop and maintain SharePoint sites and Power Automate applications. Oversee the creation and administrative management of Microsoft Teams via Power Automate flows. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Microsoft certifications relating to Microsoft technologies (MCSA, MCSE), with SharePoint Online and Azure certifications preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field plus relevant experience, or five (5) years in IT with no degree. 1-3 years managing Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Online environments at the enterprise level. 1-3 years developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform apps, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted. Additional Information
